Masid Chevrolet, Morrill, $24,995.00 fleet price for a total of $74,985.00 or $65,985.00 with trade-ins.

Present: Robert Bennett, Dave Schaff, Ken Arnold, Blake Olmstead, and Vera Dulaney, County Clerk. Gravel bids were received as follows: Simon Contractors, Scottsbluff $29.00 per ton, $34.80 per yard ($348,000); Western Engineering, Scottsbluff $18.50 per ton ($249,750).

The bid will be tabulated and awarding considered at the regular Scotts Bluff County Commissioners business meeting on December 21, 2015, 4:30 P.M.

The Bids were tabulated and presented at the County Commissioner meeting on December 21, 2015. December 21, 2015 - Discussion was held concerning the awarding of the Gravel bids. Moved by Blaha, seconded by Reichert, to reject the crushed rock bids as recommended by Robert Bennett, Highway Superintendent, due to excessive cost. YEA: Meyer, Blaha, Reichert, Masterton, Stratton. NAY: None. Bennett will seek bids for pumped gravel.
