The Civil Process Division is made up of Process Clerk Tina Ong and Process Server Mike Cotant. Process servers handle the routine civil process to include County and District Court subpoenas, summons and orders as well as papers from the courts of other jurisdictions.

Divorce papers and Protection Orders are assigned to Deputy Sheriff's on a rotation basis. Writs of assistance and writs of replevin are the responsibility of the Chief Deputy Sheriff.

  • Melbeta / Minatare / Mitchell / Morrill - $45.00
  • Lyman / Henry / McGrew / Rural Bayard - $60.00
  • ALL EXECUTIONS are $250 Deposit
  • Notary - $5.00 per page

Serve Fees (are taken out of Civil Process Deposits from above)

  • Paper Served plus mileage - $18.00 + $0.70 per mile
  • Second paper served (same case, same person at the same time) - $9.00
  • Paper unserved plus mileage - $6.00 + $0.70 per mile
